Our Pizza Story

Pizzas have been in my family for generations. As a descendant of Naples — the birthplace of pizza — my passion started when my father built his own wood oven, or forno, in the backyard over thirty-five years ago.

​

My father was born in San Marco dei Cavoti, a small town just 30 minutes from Naples. As a young boy, he would help his mother bake the seven loaves of bread that would feed their family for the week. That’s how he learnt the art of making dough — the most important part of any great pizza — and it’s a skill he proudly passed down to me.

Since 2005, The Pizza Round has been bringing authentic wood oven pizza straight to your event. With our custom-built mobile wood oven, we create fresh, handcrafted pizzas on site — just like we’ve done for decades at family gatherings.

Backed by over thirty-five years of experience in wood oven pizza making, we combine traditional dough techniques, fresh quality ingredients, and our signature family pizza sauce to deliver an unforgettable experience. Over the years, we’ve perfected the craft — so you and your guests can enjoy the best pizzas in town, made right before your eyes.

While the oven fires up, the dough is rolled out and pizzas are made fresh on site — just as I would at home. When your guests arrive, the pizzas are ready to be cooked right in front of them, making your event one to remember.
